Happy Halloween and Blessed Samhain tribe 🍂
As the veil grows thin and the leaves let go of the branches that held them all year, we find ourselves thinking about what it means to release, to root, and to begin again. Samhain has always been a season of honoring what came before, our ancestors, while the boundary between the living and spirit worlds thins. Halloween gives us permission to play in the dark a little, to dress up as something wild and unfamiliar, and to remember that transformation is never something to fear.
We are endlessly grateful to be walking through this season with all of you. This tribe has grown into something we could not have imagined when we first started crafting pinecones by hand, and every single one of you wearing a piece of this forest out into the world is part of why this brand still feels like magic to us.
A gentle reminder as the season turns: every pinecone you have ever purchased from us has already helped plant a tree, through our ongoing partnership with American Forests. Somewhere out there, because of this community, a forest is being brought back to life. That feels like the right kind of spell to be casting this time of year.
However you are spending this Samhain, whether it is carving pumpkins, lighting a candle for someone you have lost, getting dressed to go out for the night in costume, or just wrapping up in something cozy, we hope you feel held by the forest and your community tonight.
